Lydia Kelly Connelly, 94 of Fredericksburg, died on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at her residence.
Mrs. Connelly was the widow of the late, Richard Franklin Connelly who passed in January 1987.
She worked at the Public Works Department at Dahlgren, retiring in the 70s.
Survivors include her daughters, Lt. Col. Ret. Vivian Connelly of Fredericksburg, and Felicia Cox and her husband, Richard of Fallston, MD; three granddaughters, Lydia Diklich and her husband, Donald, Donna Sue Cox, and Amy Phillips and her husband, Brett; and one great-grandson, Julian Cox.
A graveside service will be held at 11am Saturday, July 31 at Oak Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Friday, July 30 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg and one hour prior to the service Saturday morning at the funeral home.
