Francis Alexander Farmer, 86, of Fredericksburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 16, 2010 at Golden Living of Fredericksburg.
Mr. Farmer was a World War II Army Veteran and a member of VFW Post 3103. He also was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Survivors include his wife, Virgie Farmer of Fredericksburg; his brother, Lloyd Farmer, Jr. and wife Louise of King George; brother in laws, Kelly and Aubrey Green of King George and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 20 at Covenant Funeral Service Fredericksburg Chapel with the Rev. R. Kenneth Brooks officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Mary Washington Hospice, 5012 Southpoint Parkway Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
