Richard Ronald "Ronny" Pearson, Jr., 47 passed away on October 31, 2009. He is survived by his best friend and soul mate, Jeanne "Sis" Kasey, daughters Zarah Gum and her husband Scott, Mary Johnson and her husband JeVaun, parents Dick and Grace Pearson, his sister Theresa Onnen and her husband Tony, three grandchildren, Heaven Gum, Jya Johnson and Jayden Johnson as well as nieces and nephews Shane, Tia, Aryn and Cody Onnen and great-nephew Chase Onnen. He was especially close to his brother-cousin Wayne Pearson and was predeceased by James "Jimbo" Pearson.
Ronny was well loved by many people. A lot of these are actual family members and even more became part of the family over time.
Ronny embraced his Native American heritage. He loved the outdoors, especially the Shenandoah Mountains. He loved hunting, fishing and getting muddy. He enjoyed his Tuesday night poker games and throwing shoes with the gang. His passing will be felt by all.
He collected guns, coins and hats.
The family invites you to an informal celebration of his life on Saturday, November 28th, 2009 at 4:00pm at Mountain View Rescue Squad in Stafford. Afterwards there will be a bonfire at Wayne Pearson's home.
We would also like you to come to a special location in the Shenandoah Mountains on May 1, 2010 to release his ashes per his wishes.
