Elizabeth J. "Liz" Wheeler, 45, of Spotsylvania County, died Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Liz had worked at Mary Washington Hospital for over 20 years.
Survivors include her mother, Pearl Lacey; her sons, Randolph Charles Statton II and his wife, Michelle and Michael Eugene Statton; her brothers, Donald Lacey, Jr, Russell and David Lacey; two nieces, Khristina and Angela Lacey; a good friend and caregiver, Suzanne Stuller; and many loving friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7 at the home of Suzette Painter, 13104 West Catharpin Rd., Spotsylvania, Va. 22551.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Trudy Clifton, 113 Tallpines Avenue, Locust Grove, Virginia, 22508.
